This position is responsible for maintaining and updating Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOMs) and Material Master (MM) attributes in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (PTC Windchill). It will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Master Data Analysts, and Component Engineers to improve the quality of manufacturing part attribute data. At it's heart much of the role comes down to maintaining a good database of part data. Database administration is a key resource for Manufacturing Engineers allowing for greater adaptability, flexibility, and function as the teams subject matter expert. Working inside of PLM systems; Solving Cross site data errors; Providing feedback to strengthen database automation; Increasing synergy across teams and sites; Training new engineers; Metric Generation; Data Stewardship.
