Position Overview

As the Manufacturing Engineer in our Manchester, CT facility, you will help support the Engineering Team and Sheet Metal department. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn and grow skills in various disciplines. i.e. sheet metal forming, manual and CNC machining, tool design, modeling, drafting, additive manufacturing (3D printing), Inspection methods, welding, brazing, non-destructive testing, process improvement, product requirements, etc.
Key Responsibilities

+ Support daily operations and troubleshoot production issues

+ Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes and products

+ Design and modify fixtures, tooling, and gauging

+ Produce, update, and review engineering drawings and op sheets

+ Document key processes and train operators to standardized work

+ Disposition nonconforming material and perform RCCA
