Position Overview
Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering degree with emphasis towards Manufacturing Minimum 7+ years of actual hands-on job experience in professional work/manufacturing environment Experience and thorough understanding in working with PLCs and controls such as sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vision systems with ability to program Experience with DFMA, SPC, FMEA, and DOE Proficiency in 3D solid modeling/2D drafting CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Knowledge of KPPs (Key Performance Parameters), KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and KPCs (Key Product Characteristics) Good working knowledge of mechanical control devices including pushbuttons, limit switches, level switches, pneumatics, hydraulics, and aluminum framework for machine builds Good working knowledge of electrical device control including PLCs, solenoids, sensors,...
