GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Process Engineer position will lead all Engineering activities and projects on the manufacturing line for the Appling Manufacturing Facility. The position will report directly to the Plant Manager.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Drive continuous improvementsthrough the use oflean principles,utilizingtheClub CarBusiness Operating Standards for Operational Excellence.Work closely with Design and Sustaining Engineering to develop Value Engineering opportunities to reduce material cost and drive labor productivity improvementsand improve quality.Design sustaining engineering and material presentation in collaboration with Engineering.Work collaboratively with Materials onfacilitatinglineside presentation.Lead Make vs. Buy analysis forpurchasedkits and subassemblies, evaluating for insourcing opportunities based on economies of scale and leverage.Develop error proofing for subass...
