Position Overview The Manufacturing and Controls Engineer will work closely with the Mount Vernon operations and maintenance teams to provide daily and project support in our extrusion and coating operations.

The candidate should have experience programming and trouble-shooting PLC-based control systems, primarily Siemens and Allen Bradly infrastructure.

The Engineer will evaluate operational data and obtain feedback from the operators to identify improvement opportunities related to yield and productivity.

Working with the Maintenance teams they will evaluate and support improvements to the Preventative Maintenance programs (hosted in SAP) to increase equipment reliability and uptime.

Capital project support will include Safety, Quality and operational improvements across the manufacturing facility.
