Day to Day Responsibilities:



Support Strategic Procurement and Category Management - Direct Materials.



Support and develop sourcing strategies within the company's Procurement organization for various material categories, including poles, distribution and substation apparatus, wire and cable, transformers, MRO supplies, safety equipment, chemicals, and gases.



Conduct competitive request for proposals (RFP) to address short-term and long-term material requirements and achieve the purchasing performance metrics of timely delivery, right quality, and optimum cost.



Lead negotiations to achieve the best value and commercial terms and conditions.



Identifies suppliers and creates appropriate engagement plans to ensure competitive RFP participation
