About the role

The Manager: Monitoring and Proactive campaigns is a recently created leadership role that will play a key part in the delivery of EPA's strategic compliance programmes. In this role you will:

• Manage the establishment and delivery of our new Proactive Campaigns function that provides high‑impact targeted initiatives to address challenging environmental issues.
• Lead the strategic compliance monitoring programme, ensuring activities approved under the broader legislative framework are held accountable.
• Collaborate as part of the CME Leadership team, working across the organisation and with regulatory colleagues in other agencies to develop best‑practice modern regulation.
• Lead and develop our kaimahi, building capable confident teams through coaching, performance management and fostering accountability.
