Roles and Responsibilities Responsibilities: Supplier Quality assurance –consists following activities.

Monitoring of the vendor quality levels & work for improvements to the higher level.

Monitoring of the IHR (in-house rejection report) , analysis with vendor team to implement corrections to reduce IHR to zero .

Proactive corrections in process to get zero defect supplies from vendors.

Process audit as per IPO & closing gaps observed, Improvements in process wrt to issues observed.

Analysis of the issues reported by the plant in vendor supplies & fool proof corrections to avoid defect in future, implementation of Poka yoke, hardware interlocks.

Analysis of field returned samples for the root cause & corrective actions finalization with interface depts. Like R&D, CQA, plants & its implementation & monitoring for the effectiveness.

Study process to improve detectability of the defects.
