Role Overview

As Manager, Credit Research, you will support the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of credit investments across public markets on behalf of the pension fund, reporting to the Senior Director, Credit Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental real‑time credit research and maintain current credit opinions.
• Formulate proactive assessments and relative value conclusions.
• Lead discussions on assigning internal Notional Ratings for the Credit universe.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal parties (Fixed Income portfolio managers, other AIMCo asset classes) and external parties (banks’ credit contacts, corporates, market participants).
• Uphold the integrity of credit processes, Notional Ratings and AIMCo’s internal credit portal.
