The Maintenance Technician supports the overall upkeep, repair, and operation of campus facilities and grounds. This position performs a variety of general maintenance duties, assists skilled trades staff as needed, and helps ensure campus spaces remain safe, functional, and well maintained. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Receives written and oral work assignments from Supervisor and obtains necessary tools and supplies from the maintenance shop.

Performs minor repairs to building fixtures such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs, lightbulb changes and light carpentry as required.

Performs HVAC air filters changes, lubrication and belt changes as directed by Supervisor.

Cleans up work area when done.

Notifies Director/Assistant Superintendent of repair supplies and materials needs.

Moves furniture, or other college-related property as needed.
