Position Overview
You as a Maintenance Technician will:
Operate and maintain all equipment and toolsRespond to emergency, urgent, routine on-demand service requests and performs preventative and corrective action on facility mechanical equipment and systemsMonitor assigned equipment and systems by conducting facility walkthroughs and Building Automation (BAS) monitoringLead tradespeople/subcontractors (accompany) on equipment repair, preventative maintenance and calibration. Issue permit-to-work and hot work permits. Report any noncompliance and safety-related matterEnsure conformance to the Environmental Management System within key process areasAttend and participate in training programs as required by EDFS and local city and provincial jurisdictionsMaintain records and information pertinent to work assignmentsClose PM and routine work orders on the PDA after completing work assignments
