Summary Incumbent works as the supervisor over the HVAC/Pipefitting Shop, Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Shops of Facilities Management Service for the Augusta VA Health Care System, Augusta, GA, under the supervision of the M&O Supervisor over the Building Maintenance, HVAC/Pipefitting & Renovation Team Shops. There are (2) HVAC/Pipefitting supervisors - Uptown & Downtown. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Performs all station level preventative maintenance to heating and cooling equipment, kitchen equipment, multiple office spaces, clinics, and functional areas of the hospital. Makes necessary contacts when required for coordination and to gather additional information regarding preventative maintenance repairs and inspections. Prepares cost estimates, obtains quotes, orders materials, parts, and equipment required for preventative maintenance.
