Summary This vacancy is for a WG - 4749-10,Maintenance Mechanic located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, CG ACADEMY PUBLIC WORKS SECTION in NEW LONDON, Connecticut. Responsibilities You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic, WG-4749-10 and be responsible for preventative, emergency, and routine service work as a Maintenance Mechanic in refrigeration, heating ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing trades throughout the grounds. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Logging expenditures of time and materials; and scheduling, accomplishing, and recording completion of work tasks.
