Position Overview
Qualifications - National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (advantageous).
- Trade Test (Electrician, Plumber, Fitter, Millwright) preferred.
- Health & Safety Certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NOSA) is an advantage.
Experience - 35+ years experience in maintenance management or technical supervisory role.
- Experience in hotel/lodge, manufacturing, commercial property, or hospitality maintenance is highly beneficial.
- Proven experience managing a team and handling contractor relationships.
Skills & Competencies - Strong technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC).
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
