EQUANS are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to be based in Blackburn for our Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital contract. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week – overtime is also available. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The post holder will have the required maintenance skills to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the site. Working within the response team and reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor and Mechanical Manager.

• To undertake a proactive role in carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspection of building services, fabric, fixtures and fittings. All in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance.
• The hours for this role will be 40 hour week.
