Role Summary
To operate conventional lathe and milling machines for precision machining of components as per engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules, ensuring safe work practices at all times.Responsibilities:
Machine Operation
Set up and operate conventional lathes and milling machines as per job requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions.Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials.Quality Control
Inspect machined components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators.Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish specifications.Record inspection results and maintain proper documentation.Maintenance & Housekeeping
