**Overview**

**Job Title: Machinist**

**Job Location: Williamsport, PA**

Under close supervision, operates a limited number of hand tools and shop equipment to perform routine machining operations in the making of parts.

**Responsibilities**

+ Deburringparts Buffer-Tumbler-Under-Scope-Bench work
+ Performsless complete machine operations or a limited number of machine tools such as drill presses, lathes power saws, shears, grinders, punch presses, honing machines, etc.
+ Performsmachine operations under supervision, and all work is frequently checked.
+ Willchange and/or sharpen cutting tool during operations, as supervised.
+ Willbe required to maintain tolerances by the use of dial indicators, micrometers, pin gauges and other measuring equipment.
+ Required to read/understand simple blueprints (i.e.OD/ID, material requirements, limit tolerances).
