Position Overview
ABOUT THE ROLE
Actively interpret technical drawings, program, set up and operate CNC machinery accordinglySupervise machines and team during operation, making real-time adjustments for enhanced resultsReport and document any discrepancies in operations, including maintenance faultsGenerate a detailed shift handoverOversee process changes within the team and departmentAttend meetings for production / contract updates as requiredWrite CNC milling programs for all machines as required (Fanuc, Edgecam / Cadcam)Set up and develop new and existing products on machine centresAssist and advise in the design and jigs and fixturesMaintain and control a current program register and tool inventoryCreate SOPs, setup sheets and other documents to aid in productionGeneral supervision of Machine Shop;Support, coach, mentor, train and develop team.
