Role Summary

Welding, fabrication, cutting, measuring and maintenance of PERI steel components.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures and understand the final product.
• Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws or structural imperfections.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Make clean lines and cuts when welding, paying attention to the job at hand.
• Keep tools and equipment in good repair and be responsible.
• Carry out PERI company health & safety procedures at all times.
