**Job Summary:**

As a Medical Assistant, you provide a safe patient experience from the moment they walk into a ProMedica facility. From gathering data from the patient to documenting the reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals, the medical assistant strives for clinical excellence.

**All duties listed below are essential unless noted otherwise**

+ Anticipates and prepares the patient, clinical equipment, and supplies for the visit.
+ Prepares the patient for the visit by gathering base line data from the patient, documenting reasons for the visit and obtaining vitals/office testing.
+ Accurately obtains vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure). Understands normal vital signs, and reports variations, if present.
