Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 36 Patient Ratios: 1:6 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): 4 South has 2 stations and uses 2 unit secretaries daily. We utilize patient care techs at all times, the amount and ratio fluctuates depending on census. Type of equipment: Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well.
