Job Function Summary:

Involves the oversight of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) performing a variety of patient care activities, such as administering injections and medications, monitoring patients' blood pressure, changing bandages, inserting catheters, and assisting with bathing or dressing. LVNs are trained to work in all aspects of health care, and may specialize in certain areas. Work is performed in a variety of medical settings, such as hospitals, clinics, physicians' offices and home care.

Custom Scope

Ensures the quality of LVN patient care and serves as a role model. Assists staff with escalated issues and reports patients' status and concerns to management or clinicians as needed.
