Description

Responsibilities include the following:

• Monitor participant's medication. Verify insurance for medication approval by making phone calls and completing authorization requests to appropriate insurance companies and pharmacies as directed by psychiatrist.
• Provide basic nursing care, provide symptom management education, ensure immediate changes are made in the treatment plans as participants' needs change; educate and support participants' families, and advocate for participants' rights and preferences.
• Submit accurate and timely documentation and related information in accordance with TCMU/CBH/HH standards. Document all contacts, movement, growth, transfers and overall progression through the system, in accordance with funding source regulations.
