LPN Part Time

Under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, the LPN performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by certification. The LPN must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. The individual must show knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. The LPN should possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs. Resident's activities of daily living needs must be met as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures within a safe and comfortable environment. Tasks include hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, elimination/toileting needs, and turning/positioning. Documentation must be completed per protocol. The reside...
