Under the direction of the Manager, Security & LP Divisional Western Region, the Loss Prevention Manager supports national account customers by providing loss prevention strategies to reduce loss and damage claims. The role conducts audits, provides reports to customers to identify areas of opportunity, and analyzes national damage and loss claim trends. The manager prevents and mitigates loss and damages through education, investigation, and observation of shipment handling to both Purolator employees and customers.
The role typically follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, either 7am–3pm or 9am–5pm. Flexibility is essential, as calls can begin as early as 7am and continue until 5pm. Outside‑standard hours support may be required for investigations or urgent issues, including early‑morning calls, weekend coverage, or overnight on‑call availability.
