TheMaxwell Underground Mine , owned byMalabar Resources Ltd has commenced operations at their Hunter Valley site, with planned production of up to 8 million tonnes of product per annum. With approvals in place out to 2046, the mine targets high quality coal with the majority being metallurgical coal.
