We are a 48-bed facility, and we are fully licensed by the province of Nova Scotia. Nakile maintains a reputation as one of the finest long-term care facilities in Western Nova Scotia. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join the Nakile family in the role of Casual Long-Term Care Assistant.

Qualifications include :

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Dementia Support training an asset (GPA, Dementia Undertsanding the Journey)

Communication training an asset

Previous experience working in Long-Term Care Environment

Safe Lift and Transfer/Resident Handling & Mobility Training
