The Primary Purpose of this position is: To serve as an authoritative expert and advisor to the Logistics Plans and Operations Division/J43, Joint Logistics Operations Center (JLOC), and Directorate of Logistics and Engineering/J4 staff regarding all aspects of major-command level Homeland Defense and DSCA exercise planning and training Responsibilities Plans, directs and coordinates, on a NORAD and USNORTHCOM Homeland Defense and Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) basis, the design of logistics exercises to ensure that the highest levels of readiness and training are maintained across the Commands. Directs mission analysis and develops Joint Mission Essential Tasks (JMETs) for accomplishment of various N&NC, Joint Staff and DOD readiness and training goals and objectives.
