Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Establish relationships with transporters, suppliers, and customers.
• Adhere to the conditions of a transport contract and company regulations.
• Negotiate pricing with transporters.
• Compile transport load confirmations.
• Follow up with trucks to determine accurate ETA.
• Keep counterparties informed about the status of trucks.
• Identify important role players and build positive relationships at loading and off-loading points.
• Capture load data on the system.
• Allocate supplier and transport invoices to correct loads.
• Collect PODs.
