Position Overview
Job Responsibilities - OT assessments, develop intervention plans and implement therapy programmes for students with intellectual disabilities
- Collaborate with educators, AHPs, care staff, caregivers and families to deliver holistic, interdisciplinary support
- Provide coaching and carry-over strategies to teaching staff and families for home and school environments
- Conduct a minimum of 36 individual therapy sessions and at least 1 group intervention session per month
- Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary meetings and intake assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely therapy documentation, progress records and assessment reports
- Provide OT consultation to staff and caregivers within 3 working days of request
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality and professional standards throughout the contract
