Role: Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist - covering Melanoma

Location: Kent

Rates: £110-£125 per hour, inside IR35

Shifts: 6 PAs per week – 2 days on site (Mon & Fri), 2 half days working from home. Job plan includes 3.5 hours of paid SPA time + admin time.

Responsibilities

• Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information to explain a diagnosis, stage of cancer and treatment options using a variety of methods, to ensure practical understanding.
• Assist in managing the side effects and symptoms of cancer and its treatment including pain management.
• Coordinate treatment plans and prescribe various types of treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
