Job Overview

Responsibilities

We are seeking a trainee in the early years of registrar training who will develop an orthopaedic career within this busy, progressive department. Responsibilities include:

• Operating lists, primarily under supervision of consultants and senior colleagues
• Conducting outpatient clinics (elective and fracture)
• Ward rounds with responsibility for the consultant’s patients on the wards
• Supervision of junior doctors in their day‑to‑day duties
• Participation in a 1‑in‑8 non‑resident 24‑hour on‑call rota
