We have 1 vacancy in the role of Distribution Line Mechanic working in Whangarei.

This is full time, permanent role working Mon – Fri. 40 hours plus on call roster/stand by roster requirements which can include after hours and weekend work.

Minimum hours per week is 30.

Hourly rate – $38 - $42.50 p/hr

About the role

• Building, servicing and maintaining overhead electrical lines up to 33kV
• Installing and replacing pole structures and conductors
• Operating equipment and completing field documentation
• Supporting performance targets with strong teamwork and problem-solving
• Ensuring safety, compliance and quality in every task

About You

• Similar work experience preferred
• EWRB Registration as a Distribution Line Mechanic required
• Class 2 Driver's Licence (advantageous)
• Current Driver’s Licence required (Class 1 minimum)
