Summary Statement

The purpose of this position is to be a Lifting Machinery inspector in terms of the Engineering Profession Act,2000 Act no 46of 2000. – To load test and certification of material handling equipment (Forklifts) on company and customer premises in a timely and cost-effective manner so that customer and company requirements are met; maintaining of vehicle records.

Minimum Requirements Matric, Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with 4 years LMI Experience Registered as: Lifting Machinery inspector in terms of the Engineering Profession Act,2000 Act no 46of 2000. Qualified Diesel and/or Petrol Mechanic, plus experience with forklifts or similar material handling equipment; or Qualified Forklift Mechanic; or Qualified Auto Electrician with mechanical experience and abilities. ...
