Job Overview:
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, the Lifeguard is primarily responsible to ensure safety through vigilance and prevent drownings. The Lifeguard is secondarily responsible for performing routine chemical checks, helping to assist set up of swim areas, and basic routine cleaning in and around the pool.

- Embodying an outgoing and enthusiastic personality at all times.
- Strong customer service while enforcing all policies and procedures.
- Reporting to work in uniform a minimum of ten minutes prior to the assigned shift.
- Explaining and enforcing rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a pool deck cleanliness.
- Maintaining proper records.
- Responding to emergencies in an efficient and professional manner.
