Position Overview
Responsibilities - Supervise swimming and other activities in and around pool area to ensure safety of members and guests
- Assist in ensuring pool regulations are being followed
- Remain alert to emergency conditions and perform first aid, water rescue when necessary
- Help in pool preparation/checks/reporting when necessary
- Evacuate swimmers from the pool to safety during lightning alerts and/or heavy rain causing poor visibility
- Assist Manager in duty planning and other required administrative work
Requirements - Candidates with no certification can apply. Training will be provided.
- Certification or prior experience in lifeguard duties will be advantageous
- For full time positions, candidate must be willing to work shifts and weekends
- Team player, with positive working attitude and good people skills
