Role Overview

Part‑time Lifeguard required immediately with 20 hours per week, covering Monday, Thursday and Friday during term time. The Lifeguard will support the school’s teaching and learning environment by supervising the pool area, assisting in the delivery of the swimming curriculum and supporting pupil development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the pool area to ensure the safety of all users and provide safety instructions.
• Prepare the pool for each session.
• Maintain cleanliness of changing rooms and pool.
• Assist with walking children to and from classrooms and pool.
• When the pool is closed, assist the Swimming Instructor in delivering an appropriate curriculum.
• Participate in planning and evaluation of swimming and learning activities with the Swimming Instructor.
