Oakwood's team of nurses work in collaboration on our beautiful campus-style setting. LPNs work with RNs to perform nursing delegated duties in the care of ill or injured residents. They will prepare, administer, and chart medication, give injections, administer G-tube feedings and care, and accept and account for drugs and equipment. LPNs will explain medication purposes, dosages, and possible side effects to residents and others. They will gather preliminary medical information from resident for physicians, and report unusual incidents with staff or residents.
