Position Overview
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care to a diverse inpatient rehab population including neuro, CVA, TBI, spinal cord injuries, and post-surgical cases
- Manage patient ratios of 1:5-7, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, wound vac management, and drain care
- Assist with PEG tube care, tube feeding, ostomy care, and bowel/bladder programs
- Support patients with mobility challenges, braces, and splints
- Administer medications, including IV antibiotics (no drips required)
- Monitor and maintain peripheral IVs
- Collaborate closely with RNs, CNAs, RTs, and Physicians for coordinated care
- Document all care in the EPIC EMR system
Requirements - Active LPN License (Georgia)
- BLS Certification (required)
- NIHSS (required)
