Position Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse - Lawrence Full-Time Position Overview: - Supports staff in the daily operation of the treatment unit and provides pertinent medical information to assist in the treatment decision-making process
- Submits treatment and reporting documentation required for program licensure, tracks information for funding sources and completes medical correspondence
- Monitors client medication, medical equipment and supplies per program policy and maintains accurate inventory
- Researches and develops applicable health/medical policies, procedures and systems
- Participates in select treatment group activities as requested
- Develops and administers health care policies and procedures including written policies for distribution of prescription and over-the-counter medications
