Library & Council Services Assistant | Flat Bush Library

An exciting opportunity for a Library & Council Services Assistant position in the Howick Local Board based at Flat Bush Library in Ormiston Town Centre.

In these customer-focussed roles, you will be contributing to the day‑to‑day running of the frontline library service. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and customers to enable a great experience. We want to be known for our outstanding customer service. You will be working closely with our local community through a range of programmes, from children's activities to supporting and/or delivering exciting learning programmes and activities that are driven by community need.

This is a fixed term (20 hour) opportunity until May 2027, working Sunday (10 am to 5 pm), Wednesday and Thursday (10 am to 6 pm) with flexibility required as we are open during public holidays.
