**Position Summary**

**GENERAL SUMMARY:** Under general supervision of the Adult Services Manager, assist the librarians by helping readers in the use of library catalogs, databases, and indexes to locate books and other materials; and by answering questions that require only brief consultation of standard reference; compile bibliographies and pathfinders and maintain exhibits; provide professional level readers’ advisory services to the adult and young adult public; participates in collection development; leads or plans programs for adults; and perform other duties as assigned.
