Position Overview
Level 3 Data Center InstallerAvailable shifts are: 3PM – 11PM and 11PM – 7AMEssential Job Functions
- Data Center technicians running, dressing and labeling fibers across various buildings in the region.
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC power and installation.
- Understand and use established safety requirements/procedures for equipment, ESD, power, & radiation.
- Install frames, cabinets, and misc. equipment.
- Install cables, power, inter-cabinet, alarm punch-down.
- Able to follow established procedures and resolve any site issues i.e.: material and engineering discrepancies.
- Measure and mark floors, position and assemble iron work and cable rack.
- Drill floors, install raised floors, install anchors, level, align and secure equipment including earthquake requirement.
