Exhall Grange Specialist School is a 4-19 maintained school that provides a nurturing environment and meets the needs of children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, social, emotional, mental health and physical difficulties.

Role Overview

We are seeking to appoint Level 2 Teaching Assistants from September 2026 to work with a diverse cohort of pupils across our school community, from Early Years Foundation Stage to Post 16.

Key Qualifications

• A passion for supporting pupils to learn to the best of their ability.
• A recognised and relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent knowledge, experience and skills.
• At least GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at Grade A–C.
• Good knowledge and understanding of SEND and areas of the curriculum.
