Lead Engineer

Job Responsibilities
Develop and Optimize Hard facing Consumables Collaborate to design formulation of hard facing wires, fluxes, and overlay solutions tailored to industry‑specific wear and impact conditions.
Conduct lab‑scale and shop‑floor trials to establish welding parameters, validate deposition behavior, and verify performance targets (hardness, dilution, wear resistance, crack resistance, and operational reliability).
Perform metallurgical testing including microstructure evaluation, hardness mapping, dilution measurement, and wear testing.
Document all development outcomes for internal reviews, qualification requirements, and customer approvals. Competitive Landscape & Benchmarking Analyze competitor consumables and overlay technologies through testing and performance benchmarking.
