Position Overview
- Lead electrical engineering activities across solar PV and BESS projects
- Manage project electrical design from feasibility through to commissioning
- Oversee LV/MV design, protection systems, substations, and grid integration
- Review and approve single line diagrams, layouts, cable schedules, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and utilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable South African and international standards
- Support procurement processes and technical evaluations of electrical equipment
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers
