London | Investment Banking | Front Office | Hybrid Working Our leading Investment Banking client is looking for a Synthetics Lead Developer (VP level) to join a front office technology team supporting a global platform for synthetics and financing.

This is a hands-on leadership role working directly with Trading and product teams to build high-performance systems across pricing, risk and trade lifecycle.

Working closely with front office stakeholders to gather and deliver on business requirements

Building scalable microservices-based applications for equity derivatives platforms

Driving architecture, system design and performance optimisation

Contributing across pricing, risk capture and trade lifecycle management

Ensuring code quality through testing, reviews and engineering best practices

Strong Java development experience

Experience building event-driven / distributed systems (Kafka, Solace or similar)
