Summary This position is located within the Environmental Management Services Division of the Kansas City VA Medical Center and performs a wide variety of laundry and linen distribution work to include: receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining stock levels of government linens and garments. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Assists in the maintenance of all records required in the distribution process of laundry linens to include totaling weights of daily weight sheets, and incoming and outgoing cart weights from the medical center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Receives linen request orders from CBOC's, fills orders, and prepares the orders for shipment by inspecting, folding, and stocking to specified quantities for delivery.
