Overview

A Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes, linens, and other fabric items. They ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of laundry in hotels, hospitals, laundromats, or other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing, drying, and ironing machines
• Sort, load, and unload laundry based on color, fabric, and care instructions
• Inspect items for stains or damage and treat them accordingly
• Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work area
• Track inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist guests or customers with laundry-related inquiries (in hotels or laundromats)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required)
