**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

Responsible for providing lactation management services to expectant and new parents that encompass mother/infant assessment for breastfeeding, perinatal and postpartum education, consultations and continuing support for breastfeeding families.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
+ Three (3) years of maternal-child nursing experience required
+ Certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required
+ Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
